I haven't had much in the way of adventures since back in January when I visited with atthestarz and hockeyfag. That seems so long ago. But today totally made up for it. I mentioned the other day that I wanted to try and stop in the town of Goldfield on our trek against Nevada. We did, and it was a gorgeous day for playing outside with the camera. Goldfield turned out to be a sublimely bizarre little town. Unfortunately, I don't have time for a full-blown update of my exploits and likely, it will take at least three entries to do it proper justice. It was a day of clones, tricked-out cars, and dilapidated old bulidings.
Holy crap was it cool. The other day, I actually read my camera manual for the first time, so the pictures I took turned out rather awesome as well. As proof of the bizareness which abounds in Goldfield, here's a teaser.
