SoopaMusicGeek Meme, Vol 1, Round 4

Alright... round 4!  There are only five left to be answered.  We are up to a whopping ten words in the lyric snippet.  For the record, I thought #41 would be answered really early, but maybe the song isn't as obvious I thought it was.  I also thought #27 was really obvious by round two. It was the oldest song of the original 50, but I don't think it's any less "heard" than "Ain't Too Proud To Beg", "My Girl", or "Jailhouse Rock".  #20 & #33 are the type of songs that everyone knows the chorus but few people probably know the words in the verses...and that's where the lyric snippet comes from.  Finally, #17 is really tricky becasue it's like no other song in the original 50, but if I told you what that difference was, I might give too much away.  As for the score, ruxxell dragged his score up to 12 while late-comer jainetrain poured in 5 correct answers in the third round.  I think if I ever get the energy to do another one of these as the "Vol 1" suggests, I may screen comments and score everyone based on the ones they got rather than a first-come, first-serve basis.  Of course, not googling them would still have to be an an honor system, since there's no way I can stop cheating, but oh well.  If you're a cheater, you're already a  loser and you know it... it's supposed to be about having fun.  So there's only five more, go for it.

Location: Tooele, Utah

Man, have we been running hard and still got a lot more to get done.  No time for any adventures or even writing about our trip to New York last week.  All I've been doing is sleeping and driving since Sunday morning... and so has Mike.  Of course, this means a big fat paycheck for me next week.  Yow!

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and that you have a happy New Year.  By this time tomorrow I should be somewhere in Iowa and heading for Lexington for my home time.  If anyone in Lexington wants to be social sometime on Saturday, lemme know.  I have a three day weekend to kill most likely.
