SoopaMusicGeek Meme, Vol 1 COMPLETE! and answers to original meme that started this crap

So Volume 1 of the SoopaMusicGeek meme is complete.  Behind the cut below is the complete meme, divided by round and who answered each first.  The new version of the game, which I hope to post sometime this week will be not be based on who happens to get it first, but will be played in such a manner (screened comments) so that everyone who gets it can receive credit for it. :)

Way back on December 13th, I did one of those standard random lyrics memes that was the genesis of this lyrics game, but I never posted the answers to that one.  I'm actually  ashamed that no one got Johnny Cash's "Boy Named Sue".  That's just sad, people.

So they are here behind the cut, if you care.

and now for a real entry... New Year's Eve and beyond... a recap

Location: Common Grounds, Lexington

When I left Indy on Friday afternoon I went to Ferdinand, IN to get my load that I would begin the week with.  There was no paper work.  Upon further investigation, there was no trailer.  The plant was closed and my fleet manager already gone for the holiday weekend, all I could do was come home.  I'll have to call them Monday morning to find out what the deal is with that.  So I wasted two hours doing that Friday when I could've just come straight home.

New Year's Eve was quiet and relatively uneventful.  I spent it with my pal Robin despite the pregnant girl's night.  Kristine had to bow out before midnight anyway.  Lewis had gone out with some of his friends so I was spared that and he came home just shortly before midnight to kiss in the New Year with his new wife. Awwwwwww.  I got to spend some quality time with my best pal ANd i got to give some good-lovin' to Fubu.

I was back in the motel and in bed by 2am and the latest.

And I slept until friggin' 2pm!  Sheesh.  I went and got some pizza at Sir Pizza on Richmond Rd.  A tip for you fellow WiFi'ers in Lexington:  the fitness gym between Sir Pizza and the laundromat in Eastland Shopping Center has an unsecured WiFi connection blasting out of it with some fairly decent bandwidth.  Makes for a great place to eat and/or do laundry.

Later in the evening I caught up with fujerica and met her husband.  We hung out for a few hours, including an excursion to Miyako for yummy sushi.  I've been rather addicted to sushi lately, taking advantage of the fresh sushi that Lexington area Kroger's have been preparing.  They make great snacks while on the road.  Just pull a tray from the cooler and it's instant yumminess; no muss, no fuss.  So I kinda went nuts at the sushi bar, ordering much more than I could possibly eat, but I wanted to taste it ALL.  Heh.  I had a good meal's worth leftover so I had it put in a to-go container.  Should make a nice meal later this week if it keeps

Despite the amount of sleep I had the previous night I was back in bed by, like, 12:30.  Of course, with all that sleep I was up by 8:30 this morning.  I checked out of the motel and setup shop in Common Grounds.  I'm getting happy with the coffee and, between the past two days, completed a lot of half-started journal entires that had been lying around my Semagic directory.

That only leaves for me to do my year-end entry.  I have decided, based-on the nature of my journal and my life, to elabroate on an idea ganked from hazlewood: a year-end review in pictures.  I have decided on about 60 photos!  So, it will probably be a multi-part entry, perhaps broken down in quarters of the year.  I hope to get started on it this week as well as get a second installment of the SoopaMusicGeek meme going.  We'll see how all that goes... given that I have the foggiest idea what I'm doing next week, its hard to tell.
