Bah, I hate this state.
Today it monsooned in Dayton. No shit. Downed power lines, closed freeways. Death and mayhem surely abounded for I was stuck in the ever-lovin' middle of it for nearly two hours trying to get out of that godforsaken city. It took me almost two hours to drive from Fairborn, where Wright State is, to Springfield, which is something like, 15 miles...tops. While stuck in traffic though, I was pleasntly reminded of one the great perks that comes with driving such a large vehicle. I took a picture of this wonderful moment. Ah! College towns.
I put a few new pictures online from this past weekend as well. Lookie at them right here. The first is my parent's house, where I grew up, the second is aof their garage which got damaged in the storm, and the 3rd and 4th are just some pictures oaataken behind the house. The final three pictures are of tobacco fields growing behind Dunbar Highschool in Lexington.
I'm not gonna write much tonight because my keyboard is in the throes of death and spitting gratuitous letter A's all over the place that I have to keep going back and deleting. Please pardon any of the wayward A's (or lack thereof) that I may have missed. Hopefuly by the next time I'm online agin, I'll have a new keyboard.
