Wow, I-670 is open *blinks*.
I don't know how long it has been closed, but since I've been out here on the road (over a year now), I-670 in Columbus has been closed between 315 and I-71. When coming through Columbus from the west and heading north up I-71, I had started taking what little bit of I-670 that was open to 315, north to the loop then over to I-71, rather than fool with the I-70/I-71 interchange downtown. Tonight I started to do the same, but as I approached the ramp to 315, I noticed that the road was no longer closed, despite the construction sign back out on I-70 which still reads "Open to 315". Hmmpph. Nice, wide, 8-laned with fresh asphalt snaking north of downtown.
They can leave that sign out there. Maybe the rest of the truckers won't figure it out for a while and I'll have it all to myself. Then again, once it is discovered, it would take a lot of the burden offa the interchange downtown for when I'm just blasting through east-west. Man, my life just got a lot easier when dealing with Columbus.
Now if Pennsylvania can just get that damn turnpike construction finished.
