I imagine that when the day comes, LiveJournal friends one and all will be welcome. That would be only fitting.

Hrm... I wonder if we could get married ON LiveJournal. Heh.

So then after the ceremony, would the attending metalheads throw the Goat?

i was just telling someone how i ultimately plan to get married over lunch and put it up on YouTube in lieu of inviting anyone.

screw friends and family. seriously. let's get right to the wedding secks.

That honestly sounds like a lovely idea. I've been through the wedding rigmarole once already. A lot of time, stress, energy, and money goes into something that lasts about 30 minutes. Just throw an awesome party for your friends so they can bring you stuff and save your money for a kick-ass honeymoon.

Welf'll want something a bit on the traditional side though, I'm sure. I do think it'd be pretty awesome if we could setup a webcam, though. ;-)

I like Lossfound's idea

As a matter of fact, when some friends of mine renewed their vows a few years ago in Vegas, they got a package that included some kind of webcam broadcast (with their Elvis..). I imagine voiceposts of the "swearing in" portion are next..

Re: I like Lossfound's idea

I've been thinking that when the day comes that Welf and I are having nuptials that a webcam broadcast would be a superb idea.

Hell, people probably are going to get married on Second Life in the near future (if they haven't already), so why not lj?
