Damn. And I just started watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force recently.

I don't think I've ever even heard the BJ and the Bear theme...no wonder I couldn't get it. Huh.

Which one ? ATHF or BJ and the Bear ?

BJ and the Bear. A man and his monkey. It just doesn't get any better than that

A boy and his penguin.
A penguin and his boy.

Two dips and a dad.

My son wears a tooooo-tooooo . . .

PS - You might watch a little too much tv, babe. :)

But it was mostly classic TV from my formative years. :)

Plus, the really funny thing is that I've gone on a TV-theme ringtone making quest over the past few months so I had about 15 of those in mp3s on my computer!

The current ringtone is the Jeopardy "Think Song" that I made.

No more Bananaphone? Hallelujah!!

IT's still on the phone, though. I'll make sure it plays when you're around. :)

No wonder I only got the shitty 90's sitcom song, because I'd have to be a hundred years old like old man Geek to get most of these.

No offence to the winners -- I tip my hat to 'ye.

Yeah, really. BJ and the Bear? WTF?

Hey now, sour grapes. I'm only 29. I just loves me my 70's sitcoms.

Aside to Soopageek... I had a few advantages:

- earlier this year I got a "top 100 greatest TV themes" CD at the library and downloaded a select few songs off of it (for the sake of nostalgia). At least 5 of the songs you listed were on my iTunes. I didn't look them up until after the game was over, I promise.

- I had a sixth grade teacher that made us memorize the lyrics to 60's television theme songs.

- Spleazeball can tell you how I got #20.

I guess it goes without saying I'm also a trivia buff.

p.s. 'All in the Family' is the greatest sitcom ever.

Sorry, darlin' -- it was more an attempt at poking fun at Soop than sour grapes, but, such as.

Unfortch I don't know bollocks about most television anything (The Simpsons, Star Trek, and Looney Tunes excepted.) So I'm always impressed by trivia buffs, as it were.

Hey wait a minute...my name wasn't listed!

Perhaps because I didn't play.

I never would have got ATHF, The Jeffersons, The A-Team, All in the Family or B.J. and the Bear (I remember one line from that song and it's not one you posted). But I really, really should have got The Dukes of Hazzard. I watched that show religiously.

hahaa. first time i ever understood the lyrics of athf. haha. thanks.
