plans for tonight

This weekend I didn't get to go home. I picked up a load yesterday in Macon, GA that's headed for St. Louis Monday morning. It ruined some plans I had for the weekend but I'm not too worried about it. I'll be getting home this coming Thursday to celebrate my 40th birthday on Friday. Welf has all sorts of plans, reservations, and accomodations made for next weekend and if making sure I'm there for that means not getting home this weekend, that's just fine with me. I'm holed up in Murfreesboro, TN for the day. I have access to a TV inside an establishment called The Cheesesteak Factory where I can watch the Kentucky game. I also have a bottle of wine I plan to consume throughout the evening. Just becaue I can't be at home this weekend doesn't mean I have to live like an animal.

ETA: I take back what I said in my previous entry. Granted, Arkansas isn't providing much competition... they come into Rupp with a losing record... but Kentucky is playing with an intensity and focus that they have been lacking all year long. Holy shit. I kinda feel sorry for the Arkansas team. It's like, you spend your life thinking you're one of the best at what you do, then you play a team of aliens where the physics just don't apply to you any longer. A 30 point lead at halftime? Insane.
