It's not hard not far to reach
We can hitch a ride to Rockaway Beach

Ya know.. The Ramones were at Lollapallooza one year when I went.
Good stuff. I took pictures but, you couldn't really tell who they were. Stupid disposable camera.

i saw the Ramones at that amphiteatre at King's Island years and years ago... it was the "Escape From New York" tour... also on the bill was Jerry Harrison, the Tom Tom Club, and Debbie Harry... not the choicest of venues, but i'm glad i got to see the Ramones before they called it quits and started dying.... R.I.P. Dee Dee and Joey...

When I went to see them, I made my way over to the stage that they were preforming on.. leaving KoRn and Metallica.. The guy I was with was like, "Why the hell do you want to go see The Ramones??" I was insulted! "Why?? Why?? What the hell kind of person am I here with? " Then hearing that it was to be their last bit of touring. I am so glad I got to see it.

I went to that with my sister (not Shan). I was yoooooung, maybe like 14 or so.

I've seen the Ramones about 20 times. I have an entire dresser filled with memorabilia, guitar picks, drumsticks, autographed pictures that I intend on giving (some, anyway) to my co-workers son, who will appreciate it and probably not have it sitting in a bedroom dresser drawer.

Also, I got to meet the Ramones (again, on account of my sister) and hang out with them ALL night. They drank a lot of Yoo-Hoo. CJ was the only one that was really nice to me, he let me pick songs for him to play during rehearsal. I was probably 16. It was the coolest thing that had happened ever up to that point in my life. Also, as a bonus, Johnny used to call my house (for sis) whenever they were in the area.

i so wanna hang out with you
